My name is Michelle, and I have a deep passion for caregiving. Growing up with a mother who is a teacher, I have spent much of my life closely connected to the educational system. This has given me the privilege of learning valuable lessons that I now carry with me in my childcare career.
I feel incredibly grateful to be able to combine these experiences with my love for working with children. Opening my own dayhome has always been a dream of mine. From nannying and babysitting to working in daycares and schools, I have always been driven by the desire to create a nurturing and fun environment where children can thrive.
For me, there is nothing more fulfilling than bringing light and joy to every child I care for. I aim to build lifelong connections and leave lasting, positive impressions, creating a safe space where children feel encouraged, supported, and free to express themselves. I strive to build trusting relationships with both parents and children, providing a constant source of support that they can always rely on.
I believe in nurturing my own inner child, embracing playfulness and creativity, and encouraging the curiosity, talents, and gifts that each child possesses. By fostering these qualities in a safe and supportive environment, I give children the unique opportunity to explore, learn, and grow, giving them a strong foundation for the future.

* Over a decade in the Child Care industry (daycare, babysitting, nannying)
* Level 1 Certification
* CPR Level C, AED and First Aid training
* Safe food handling certification
* Clear vulnerable sector check and criminal background check
* I bought a beautiful home that provides a naturally lit space, in a safe and quiet neighbourhood, my backyard is fenced and backs onto a big park
* Located in St. Albert, Alberta
* I have been a lead teacher in Infant, toddler and Preschool rooms
* I nanny to over 5 families in my area currently and can provide great references from them and also past families from Ontario and New Brunswick
* I love to enjoy the outdoors, I am very creative and active.
* I am a very passionate educator and love all the children I work with as if they are my own, I ensure to create a safe and nurturing space for each child in my care, at all times
